Menu Day 1

My 1st day in Singapore, menu-wise consisted of:

1) Vegetarian Vermicelli - I've been eating from this stall since I was in kindergarten
2) Deep fried 'butterfly' - sweet flour with sesame seeds
3) Freshly squeeze sugar cane juice - and it's green not brown like the ones you get at Springvale!
4) Peranankan food

I'm pacing myself so I don't burn out before CNY... heh.. no pictures as yet.. soon hopefull!

I spent some time with Ethan (my nephew). He's really expressive for a kid his age (what, a whole 1.5 months!) and not to mention very demanding. My dad reckons we've got very similar characteristics -- stubborness.

But hey, we're both 'goats' and that's just the way we are.
