Lucky You're with A a m i

After 7 months of waiting, countless chase up calls
Frustration and annoyance
The insurance company finally gave me the answer I was hoping for.
My claim apparently made it to the magistrate's court and the outcome was in my favour.

Hoorah!
I'm getting back the excess I coughed up - 7 months ago mind you!

Sing with me ... !
"Lucky, you're with A a m i"

I've been told there's going to be a theme party come end September.

So, who do I go as, seeing that I'm:
1) Female
2) Asian
3) Not tall, slim and endowed with endless legs and/or perky boobs.

Dressing up as an emperor dowager to a what I would assume mostly caucasian party might not go down quite well. Afterall, how do you explain ancient history to happy drunks?
That said, it was suggested that I go as a samurai warrior - perhaps it was intended I turn up wearing the sword but refer to point 3 above.

Suggestions, anyone?

Where's Spring?

The weather in Melbourne seems to have gone backwards.
A week ago, it was all sunshine, a couple of humid nights but now it's pissing down rain with a chill factor of -2.
Well, not quite -2 but it's Melbourne and when it's this miserable and cold, it might as well be -2 degrees!

E's visit came and went. I'm rather sorry that we never got to spend as much as time I would have liked but at the end of it, I know she had a great time catching up with shopping and old friends - afterall, that's how holidays are meant to be. Meals at Aka Tombo will never be the same again, knowing full well that I would've been served a wider spread of food if she's at the table!

I've gone back to Muay Thai. Yes, it took me awhile to get back into it and I've comitted myself to participate in an amateur fight - only if they found another person of the same weight and hopefully height. Perhaps this would get me back to focus on my fitness level again. It's pretty much gone downhill - with all that lying around and indulging with rich food.. not that I'm complaining! The appetite tends to get bigger with great company.
It's a known fact that every girl makes an effort to plump up the boy only so that no one else will want him! Teeheehee!
