Roma Day 2

And so I walked the Colosseum, the Forum, stepped on grass where Chariots once raced through.
I stood where Julius Caesar was apparently burnt, where Mark Anthony made his famous speech.
I crossed Italian pedestrians with great confidence, and yet, only once did I come close to getting run over by the bus. All in a day's work.

I even managed to keep lunch costs below 3 euros (what a feat it was) - my first in my entire trip!
Managed to dodge the crowds, taking the metro and gypsy ladies.

Tomorrow will be my last day in Rome but there's still too much to see and I am feeling very overwhelmed.
It may be just a case of visiting the Vatican and St Peter's by mid afternoon and calling it a day.

Ciao!
