Mid-Winter

The nice warm sun experienced back in April now seem like a faraway dream.
No more humidity, no more heat, no more sun.

It's been absolutely freezing in Melbourne the past two weeks.
Every winter seems worse than the previous year's
But I am sure it's just a case of not remembering how cold it was.

This wet, windy, wintry weather is not to my liking,
Nor Ned's - with his arthritic shoulders, Melbourne's winter certainly has not been kind.
